Belgische Fantasien 2016

Videoprojektion (digitales Rendering, 56“ Loop) auf Skulptur (Sanitärsilikon, Metallring, Draht) 80 x 80 x 20 cm

Das hängende Objekt besteht aus transparentem Sanitärsilikon, den ich zu Strängen a je 5mm Durchmesser gespritzt und an ein Metallring geknotet habe. Dasselbe Objekt habe ich zudem im 3D-Programm (Cinema 4D) digital nachgebaut und animiert. Das Video der bewegten Version wird auf das physische Objekt mit Beamer projiziert und suggeriert eine Kinetik.

Belgian fantasies

Video projection (digital rendering, 56" loop) on sculpture (silicone, metal ring, wire) 80 x 80 x 20 cm.

The hanging object is made of transparent sanitary silicone, which I sprayed into strands of 5mm diameter each and knotted to a metal ring. I also digitally recreated and animated the same object in a 3D program (Cinema 4D). The video of the animated version is projected onto the physical object with a beamer and suggests kinetics.
