Die fortschreitende Klimaerwärmung wird unsere Umgebung und unser Sein in der Welt massiv verändern. Dinge die heute normal sind, werden in Zukunft undenkbar sein. Dinge die heute undenkbar sind, werden in Zukunft normal sein. Wie könnte unsere Umgebung in dieser Zukunft aussehen? Wie könnten sich die uns bekannten Räume und ihre Objekte verändern? Und wie werden wir unsere Beziehung zur Umgebung verändern müssen?
Die ortsspezifische Arbeit im Gartenbad Eglisee in Basel informiert die Besucher:innen über ein spekulatives Bauvorhaben: Da durch die Klimaerwärmung die Gewässer in der Region in Zukunft für kälteliebende Fische wie die Forelle und die Äsche in den Sommermonaten unbewohnbar werden, baut die Stadt Basel auf der Liegewiese in Gartenbad Eglisee einen Fischteich, in dem die Fische „übersommern“ werden.

Progressive global warming will massively change our environment and our existence in the world. Things that are normal today will be unthinkable in the future. Things that are unthinkable today will be normal in the future. What could our environment look like in this future? How could the spaces we know and their objects change? And how will we have to change our relationship to our surroundings?
The site-specific work at Gartenbad Eglisee in Basel informs visitors about a speculative construction project: As global warming will make the waters in the region uninhabitable for cold-loving fish such as trout and grayling in the summer months, the city of Basel is building a fish pond on the sunbathing lawn in Gartenbad Eglisee where the fish will "spend the summer".
